Everytown for Gun Safety, billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s rabid gun control group, has raised less than $26 million to push gun control this election cycle, despite promises to raise $60 million, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

The Beacon reports that Federal Election Commission records show Everytown is “still … tens of millions of dollars short of its pledge.”

Despite the shortfall in funding, Everytown, Moms Demand Action, and other anti-gun groups are still spending big in swing states. GPM has reported these groups are targeting Texas, Arizona, Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.

It’s no surprise, of course, that Americans are less than keen to support groups hell-bent on taking their guns away, when these same Americans are buying firearms in record number.
