As our nation is confronted with the fear of Coronavirus, liberal politicians are using the panic as an excuse to restrict people’s right to defend themselves.
The Washington Examiner reports:
The mayor of Champaign, Illinois, gave herself the power to ban the sale of guns and alcohol after declaring a citywide emergency to address the coronavirus.
Among the powers Feinen gained after signing the executive order was the power to ban the sale of guns, ammunition, alcohol, and gasoline. Feinen could also cut off access to individuals’ gas, water, or electricity. The city also has the ability to "take possession of private property" or order the temporary closing of all bars or liquor stores.

It’s important to note that Feinen is a friend of the gun control lobby. During her campaign in 2019, Feinen said:
“I want to continue to work…in meaningful ways to stop the gun violence in our community. I will support…Moms Demand Action.”
The National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) is sounding the alarm at the national level as well, warning gun owners that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are rushing to force their dangerous gun control agenda into the “coronavirus relief” legislation being pushed through Congress.
If Pelosi and Schumer get their way, we’ll be faced with:
Another try for national “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation.
More NICS National Gun Registry expansion.
Yet another attempt at a so-called “Assault Weapons” Ban.
Additional accessory bans.
More pressure to push the US into the U.N. “Small Arms” Treaty.
Remember that liberals never let a crisis go to waste.
