Reigning Miss Mississippi Asya Branch, 22, won the coveted Miss USA pageant last night after speaking about the importance of gun rights to the judges.

Branch said, according to the Daily Beast:

“As someone who grew up in a home with guns, I learned at an early age how to load, how to fire, and gun safety. And I think that education should be available to everyone… I think it’s important that we not ban guns, because obviously people will find a way to get what they want anyways, but I think it’s our Second Amendment Right, and we just need more safety surrounding that.”

New Miss USA is gun loving Mississippian who once sang at Trump rally
Miss Mississippi calls for guns ‘not to be banned’ in passionate Miss USA speech. The crowd cheered as she told the audience she had learned gun safety at a young age and believed it was a constitutional right to bare arms.

Branch in an unabashed Trump supporter. She met with the president to be part of a roundtable discussion on prison reform and sang the Star-Spangled Banner at a Trump rally. Her social media pages show her participating in clay shooting and raising money through sport shooting.

Branch is beautiful, smart, well-informed, and just what the conservative movement needs right now.
