Lauren Boebert owns Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, a restaurant where every waitress packs a gun, and a very pro-gun place Gunpowder Magazine was pleased to visit as part of our “Second Amendment Spotlight” series (see video at the end of this article).

Now, Boebert is running for Congress. The spunky, young mom of four has made a name for herself as a staunch Second Amendment supporter, having recently made national headlines for standing up to Beto O’Rourke. According to The Blaze:

[The Denver Post] said Boebert, 32, took note of O’Rourke’s declaration — "Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47" — at last week’s Democratic primary debate.

So, with her Glock handgun holstered at her side, the Post noted, Boebert didn’t waste her chance on the mic to speak to O’Rourke: "I am here to say: Hell no, you’re not," she told him.

And quite a few folks in the crowd didn’t like it, as they jeered and hollered at Boebert.

To his credit, O’Rourke asked his fans to "be respectful" and let her finish.
She then asked the candidate how he intends "to legislate evil, because it is not the gun — it is the heart of the man."

Watch Boebert’s fearless defense of the Second Amendment here:

In a statement announcing her campaign to unseat U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton, R-Cortez, in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, Boebert said:

“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, The Squad and the rest of these left-wing lunatics are taking a wrecking ball to our country while our current representative stays utterly silent.

“Hard-working, patriotic Americans like you and me don’t want the Green New Deal and socialized medicine. Every time AOC and the rest of The Squad pipes up with another crazy idea, I will remind them that our belief in God, country and family are what built the United States of America into the greatest nation the world has ever known.”

And below you can see what Shooters Grill is all about – “girls, guns, and good food!”
