Savage Arms has entered the EDC chat with their new for 2022 Micro-Compact Stance 9mm pistol!

Savage has been known for their outstanding rifles, but since the sale of the company in 2019, they’re undergoing a transformation. Savage is adding several new designs and entering the concealed carry market. They’ve been knocking out some great firearms the last few years with their Renegauge Shotgun, which won Guns & Ammo’s Shotgun of the Year for 2020. Then they followed up in 2021 with the bolt action impulse, that won Rifle of the Year 2021.  Now Savage has come up with their first pistol in more than a century and has a new entry for the EDC market with the Stance!

The pistol uses a detachable metal chassis that can be removed and placed into a different polymer grip frame. The grip frames are designed at an 18-degree angle, and they come with two different backstraps for different hand sizes. There is aggressive 360 degree stippling on the grip and also on the frame for finger indexing. Since we’re taking about aggressive, the whole gun has that look! The melonite finished, stainless-steel slide has serious serrations front and back, and the front serrations are ported!

The Stance comes in three versions and colors: the 3-dot and night sight version in black, grey, or FDE, and the laser version available only in black.

You wanted controls, Savage has them. All versions are equipped with an ambidextrous slide catch and magazine release. The takedown lever is located on the left side, so you don’t have to pull the trigger to disassemble the pistol. You wanted a manual safety, Savage has them. Each version can be ordered with an ambidextrous safety option.
