Gunpowder Magazine stopped by the Browning booth at the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show 2019. Here’s what they had to tell us about this year’s newest items:

In the bolt-action rifles, we have what’s called the Max Long Range, and this is more of a precision, long-range type shooting/hunting rifle. It’s got a vertical pistol group, an adjustable comb, adjustable length of pull. A great part about it is a great price point. It’s $1260 MSPR for standard calibers. You get a ton of features for that price.

In over and unders, we’ve got a lot of new stuff. We’ve focused a lot on the youth market. If we have someone starting in the market, they’re not done growing, we enable the shotgun to grow in length of pull as the person grows. On the high end, we have a four-barrel set, a Citori over/under hunting shotgun. It’s beautiful – a lot of hand-engraving. It’s nice to have those four different gauges.

And on the pistol side, we have some new engraved models in the 1911-380, so there are a lot of exciting things going on.

More about these guns, from Beretta’s website:

Pretty much everything you want to know about the new 1911-380 is contained in the information and videos below. However, sometimes it is handy to get a second opinion. To read a detailed, third party review on the Browning 1911-380 you will want to go to the NRA website America’s 1st Freedom. The article titled Exercise Your Freedom | A Whole New .380 was written by Frank Winn, Guns & Gear Editor and was published on Thursday, May 28, 2015.

There are some very informative things that come out about the Browning 1911-380 as Frank and others put it to the test. This quote will be of interest to you: "In every test we conducted, on paper, on steel (plates to 35 yards), and through defensive and competitive drills, the Black Label performed flawlessly."
